About Us

Digital Vector Maps is the result of a collaboration between a web developer named Rich Gilmour and a GIS consultant named Chris Chubb. Chris has years of training in GIS work, digital map making, and design. He has worked for some of the largest map companies in the United States and has handled all aspects of map creation, including graphic design, data creation, and printing coordination. Chris' has worked on almost every type of map over the years, which include city/chamber maps, tourist maps, fold-maps, large wall maps, and map guides. He currently runs Chris Chubb Cartography which does custom map design and gis data work for businesses, municipalities, and clients that need specialized map work. Rich brings to the table over 20 years of experience as a computer programmer, having cut his teeth programming video games at the age of 14. He eventually went on to learn web design and development, and has been designing websites and Internet-based applications since 1996. In December 2004, Rich founded Invenio LLC, a web development, internet marketing & seo company based in San Diego, CA.
